Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping personnel to uphold service excellence.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
- Collaborate with front office and maintenance teams to address guest requests and facility issues promptly.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and checklists.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and resolve any operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
