Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify they meet quality and hygiene expectations.
- Train, mentor, and schedule housekeeping staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, and place orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Address guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to address room readiness, repairs, and guest needs.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, sanitation, and waste management.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including occupancy rates, staff productivity, and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with housekeeping software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Certification in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.
