Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special guest requests during overnight shifts.
- Ensure all food items are consistently prepared, seasoned, and presented to Four Seasons’ exacting standards.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the sous chef and executive chef to plan and execute overnight menus and special events.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance menu offerings and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
