Responsibility
- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain brand standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce hygiene and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on housekeeping operations, including performance metrics and guest feedback.
- Lead by example in upholding sustainability practices, such as waste reduction and energy conservation.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new housekeeping staff to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or Japanese) are a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the role.
- Certification in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
