Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective usage.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with local regulations and company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, including staff performance, guest feedback, and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in the hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations.
- Proficient in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly Indonesian or Balinese, are a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel's operational needs.
