Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Record and report maintenance issues or defects to the engineering department via the designated coordinator.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective usage.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement housekeeping schedules to optimize staff productivity and coverage.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or tools.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints diplomatically.
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field is advantageous.
