Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all resort areas.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to resort policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages.
- Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs, safety protocols, and sustainability initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, occupancy trends, and budget adherence for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a 4- or 5-star hotel/resort.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness, aesthetics, and guest comfort.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
