Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Replace and arrange linens, towels, and toiletries to ensure rooms are fully stocked and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or housekeeping services.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Adhere to hotel safety and hygiene standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely room turnovers for incoming guests.
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under time constraints.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment safety.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards is a plus.
