Responsibility
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to Marriottâs exacting standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Replace and replenish amenities, linens, and towels, ensuring all supplies are fully stocked.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or malfunctions to the engineering team.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services, such as extra pillows or housekeeping items.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to prioritize room cleaning based on check-in/check-out schedules.
- Use eco-friendly cleaning products and practices to support Marriottâs sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the luxury standards of the brand.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related role in the hospitality industry (preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and address cleanliness issues proactively.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently clean multiple rooms within tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 15 kg, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic English proficiency (written and verbal) to communicate with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
- Commitment to teamwork and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
