Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Replace and replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and use approved cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests, addressing any requests or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of all housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
