Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and menu items according to established standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including the coffee bar and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide receipts with a focus on accuracy.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to increase sales while maintaining a genuine, non-pushy approach.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, Waiter/Waitress, or in a similar customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and beverage presentation.
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Neat, professional appearance and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is advantageous.
