Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, creating positive first impressions
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reservations and billing
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with diplomacy and problem-solving skills
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide personalized recommendations
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, reporting, and inventory management
- Uphold hotel standards and brand values while representing the property professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel reception or customer service roles
- Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian, etc.) highly desirable
- Strong computer skills with experience in property management systems (Opera, Amadeus, etc.)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus
