Responsibility
- Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas (e.g., lobbies, restaurants, pools) to ensure adherence to Marriottās cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Run and analyze sold room reports to verify room status and coordinate with front desk for seamless guest check-ins.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Address guest complaints or special requests related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to report and resolve facility-related issues affecting cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including local and international standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Proficient in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in English; additional knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Certification in hospitality management or housekeeping is an advantage.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns effectively.
