Responsibility
- Ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet Marriott’s high cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
- Follow sustainable cleaning practices to minimize environmental impact while maintaining hygiene.
- Provide exceptional service by responding promptly to guest requests related to room cleanliness.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in training new team members on cleaning protocols and Marriott’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Familiarity with Marriott’s brand standards or similar luxury hospitality brands is advantageous.
