Responsibility
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Present menus, share detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to the resort’s grooming and uniform standards.
- Set up and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and presentation meet luxury standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service flow.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-end restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Basic computer skills for order management systems (training provided).
