Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ESL lessons tailored to students' age groups, proficiency levels, and learning objectives.
- Conduct one-on-one or group classes via our online platform, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning experience.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and customized learning plans.
- Utilize a variety of teaching materials, tools, and technologies to enhance lesson effectiveness (e.g., multimedia, games, and real-life scenarios).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with the academic team to develop and refine curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents (where applicable).
- Stay updated on ESL teaching trends, best practices, and cultural nuances to continuously improve teaching quality.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native English proficiency (C1/C2 level or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, TEFL, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 1 year of ESL/EFL teaching experience (online or in-person).
- Certification in TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent (highly preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students of all ages.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms, digital tools, and virtual classroom software (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, webcam, and headset for seamless online teaching.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to different time zones (if teaching international students).
- Passion for education, cultural exchange, and student success.
- Experience teaching young learners, business English, or exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) is a plus.
