Responsibility
- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, fluid balance, and response to dialysis, adjusting treatment parameters as needed.
- Operate and maintain dialysis machines and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Educate patients and families on renal health, dietary restrictions, and self-care to improve treatment outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, providing training and guidance on renal care best practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment logs, and medical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Ensure a clean, sterile, and organized dialysis unit adhering to infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Post Basic in Renal Nursing certification or equivalent qualification in nephrology nursing.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Hemodialysis Nurse or Head Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Valid nursing license (local or international, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
- Strong knowledge of hemodialysis procedures, vascular access care, and complication management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and dialysis-specific software is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous).
