Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of heavy machinery fleets, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of machinery operators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring machinery reliability.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to identify areas for operational enhancement.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align operations with business objectives and project timelines.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and workplace safety protocols, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and negotiate contracts for equipment procurement, leasing, or servicing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy machinery operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale machinery fleets in manufacturing, construction, or logistics industries.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, cranes, loaders) and their operational requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in operational software (e.g., ERP, fleet management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
