Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet company standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely arrival of materials to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to align procurement activities with budget and operational goals.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues with suppliers, including delays, quality concerns, or billing errors.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
