Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and solar equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and implement effective repair solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery components, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, to identify wear and tear or potential failures.
- Replace or repair defective parts, such as belts, filters, and seals, while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts usage, and service logs.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance and repair operations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar technology and heavy machinery to enhance technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Heavy Machinery Mechanic, preferably in the renewable energy, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy equipment, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Certification in heavy equipment maintenance (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for complex machinery.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools for maintenance and repair.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heights and confined spaces, while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with international teams and documentation.
