Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment wheel systems, including tires, rims, and hydraulic components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in wheel assemblies using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Replace or repair damaged parts, such as bearings, seals, and axles, to restore equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimal downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry regulations during operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum SMK (Vocational High School) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Technology.
- Certified BMC (Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi) for heavy equipment mechanics.
- Completion of technical training programs, such as EGI (HD785) or equivalent, is highly preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment wheel systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks in various work environments.
