Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Execute repair and replacement of faulty components, ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, parts usage, and time logs for all performed tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and operators as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in heavy equipment technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Heavy Equipment Technician or in a similar role within the construction, mining, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Certification or vocational training in heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose complex issues accurately.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various conditions, including outdoor and confined spaces.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for heavy equipment (e.g., CAT SIS, Komatsu CARE).
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
