In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to build long-term relationships with contractors, farmers, and businesses in Bali’s thriving construction and agriculture sectors. Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets for heavy equipment and agricultural machinery.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including contractors, farmers, and industrial businesses, through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of Hakata’s machinery.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the technical and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales support for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements in heavy equipment to provide informed recommendations.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
- Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote Hakata’s brand and products.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, agricultural tools, or related industrial products.
- Strong technical knowledge of harvesting units, excavators, loaders, tractors, or similar machinery (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet aggressive targets in a competitive market.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within Bali and occasionally to other regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional local dialects (e.g., Balinese) are a plus.
