Responsibility
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment in accordance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Assist in the receiving and inspection of incoming machinery to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory, track equipment usage, and prepare machinery for rental or deployment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and document equipment status to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting heavy equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations to promote a safe and productive workplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs.
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery (preferred).
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
