Responsibility
- Operate the D85 dozer efficiently and safely to perform earthmoving, grading, and leveling tasks in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the dozer to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site-specific safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure all work meets the required specifications and tolerances.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Document daily operations, including hours worked, tasks completed, and any issues encountered, to maintain accurate project records.
- Respond to and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor to prevent downtime or accidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a D85 dozer or similar heavy equipment in construction, mining, or land development projects.
- Valid heavy equipment operator certification or license recognized in Indonesia.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grading plans, and other technical documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, dust, and noise.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance on the equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
