As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, optimize, and oversee heat treatment processes to ensure superior product performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards. Your work will support critical projects across aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications, leveraging cutting-edge equipment and innovative methodologies.

Responsibility

  • Develop and optimize heat treatment processes (e.g., annealing, quenching, tempering, carburizing) for metals and alloys to meet mechanical and metallurgical specifications.
  • Conduct material analysis (e.g., hardness testing, metallography, spectroscopy) to validate process outcomes and ensure quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, QA) to troubleshoot defects, improve efficiency, and reduce cycle times.
  • Design and implement heat treatment parameters using industry standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM, ISO) and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain heat treatment equipment (furnaces, ovens, induction systems) to ensure operational safety and compliance.
  • Document procedures, generate technical reports, and maintain traceability for audits and certifications.
  • Stay updated on emerging heat treatment technologies and recommend process improvements to enhance product performance.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in thermal processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in heat treatment processes within manufacturing or aerospace industries.
  • Proficiency in using heat treatment software (e.g., DANTE, Sysweld, or Thermocalc) and laboratory equipment (e.g., SEM, XRD, hardness testers).
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy principles, phase diagrams, and material properties (e.g., steel, aluminum, titanium alloys).
  • Experience with pyrometry, furnace calibration, and compliance to NADCAP, AS9100, or similar standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to work in a multicultural team.
