Responsibility
- Prepare and distribute patient meals according to dietary plans and medical requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in kitchen operations, including food preparation, portioning, and plating while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with dietitians, nurses, and healthcare staff to confirm patient meal preferences and restrictions.
- Maintain clean and sanitary food service areas, including equipment, utensils, and storage spaces.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Follow HACCP and food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing meal-related inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Participate in team training and development programs to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in food safety or healthcare support is a plus.
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
