Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions, emergency drills, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and preventive measures.
- Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with management to integrate HSE standards into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents for regulatory reporting.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to continuously improve safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in maritime, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE qualifications is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international HSE regulations (e.g., ILO, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to shipyard sites and offshore locations as needed.
