Responsibility
- Lead and manage the security operations team to ensure the protection of enterprise IT systems and data.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring they are secure, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into IT projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential threats.
- Stay abreast of emerging security trends and technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior security operations role, with a strong background in IT delivery.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and incident response.
