Responsibility
- Strategic Logistics Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and enhance cost efficiency.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansions to drive revenue growth.
- Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project logistics, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align logistics operations with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine logistics processes, leveraging data analytics and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Mitigate supply chain risks by anticipating disruptions and implementing contingency plans.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 8+ years in logistics, supply chain management, or project logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Business Acumen: Strong background in business development, sales, or commercial logistics with a track record of driving growth.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing, transport, or global logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, and distribution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics tools.
- Leadership Abilities: Exceptional team management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
- Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on Southeast Asia.
