Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
- Lead end-to-end procurement planning, including demand forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.
- Optimize sourcing frameworks to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms.
- Drive supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term partnerships and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement procurement best practices, including digital transformation and automation where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Certification in CPSM, CIPS, or SCMP is highly desirable.
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
