Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance across manufacturing, transportation, and logistics operations.
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, and selection processes, ensuring alignment with company standards and sustainability goals.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee purchase orders, inventory management, and demand forecasting to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry benchmarks to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, legal) to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies.
- Implement digital procurement tools and automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, transportation, or logistics.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in cost-benefit analysis and budget management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Indonesian procurement regulations and market dynamics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and lead cross-functional teams.
