As a Furniture Estimator, you will collaborate closely with our design, production, and sales teams to ensure competitive pricing, optimal resource allocation, and profitability while maintaining our reputation for excellence. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to secure and deliver premium furniture projects across Bali’s thriving hospitality and residential sectors.
Based in one of Bali’s dynamic hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll work in a creative and fast-paced environment where precision meets craftsmanship. Whether you're estimating for luxury villas, boutique hotels, or custom residential designs, your expertise will shape the financial and operational success of each project.
Responsibility
- Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and client requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for furniture production.
- Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and overhead expenses to develop comprehensive budget proposals.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to assess feasibility and recommend cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present accurate, itemized quotes and tenders for client approval, ensuring alignment with market rates and company margins.
- Monitor material prices, supplier rates, and industry trends to update cost databases and improve estimation accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability and timely project execution.
- Review and adjust estimates based on design changes, client feedback, or production constraints.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and project financials for auditing and future reference.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator, preferably in the furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or interior design industry.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, or industry-specific tools) and MS Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture materials (wood, metal, upholstery, etc.), production techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in calculations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOM).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with Bali’s furniture market and supplier networks is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Woodworking, or related fields is preferred.
