Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the port terminal, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to drive business growth and improve profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and regulatory teams to optimize processes and enhance operational performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
- Drive innovation in operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. A Masterās degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within port, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, logistics software, and operational analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
