Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of GRC professionals, fostering a culture of risk awareness, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align GRC strategies with business objectives, ensuring risk management supports innovation and growth.
- Monitor and assess emerging regulatory changes, industry trends, and technological advancements to proactively address potential risks and compliance gaps.
- Design and execute risk assessment methodologies, control testing, and audit processes to identify and mitigate risks across all business functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on GRC policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Report on GRC performance metrics, risk exposure, and compliance status to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, LLM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to Basel III, AML/CFT, GDPR, ISO 27001, and local Indonesian financial regulations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing GRC programs that enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CAMS are a strong plus.
- Experience working in a fintech or digital banking environment is highly advantageous.
