Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support pre-IPO growth, including fundraising, M&A, and capital structure optimization.
- Build and scale the finance team, implementing robust financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial planning with business objectives, including revenue modeling and cost optimization.
- Manage relationships with investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and adherence to IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Drive cash flow management, treasury operations, and risk assessment to safeguard the company’s financial health.
- Spearhead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or new market expansions.
- Present financial insights to the Board and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a strong plus.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Finance Director, CFO) in a high-growth or pre-IPO environment.
- Proven track record in financial modeling, fundraising (Series B+), and IPO preparation.
- Expertise in IFRS/GAAP, tax optimization, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), Excel, and BI tools.
- Experience scaling finance operations in Southeast Asia or emerging markets is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and adept at building processes from scratch.
