Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to food/beverage costs, labor efficiency, and overhead expenses to drive profitability.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual cost analysis reports, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimize supplier contracts, reduce waste, and improve cost structures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, PSAK) and internal financial policies.
- Spearhead budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial targets with business expansion plans.
- Train and mentor finance teams on cost control best practices and financial literacy.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, automation, and data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail).
- Proven expertise in inventory management, standard costing, and margin analysis for multi-unit operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or with international accounting standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
