Indonesia Ocean Truck is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development with expertise in Shipping & Logistics to lead our expansion in Bali. Fluency in Mandarin is essential to engage with international clients and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market share in shipping and logistics.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, contracts, and client acquisitions.
- Lead negotiations with international clients, vendors, and stakeholders (Mandarin proficiency required).
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and improve operational efficiency.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the shipping and logistics ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the shipping/logistics industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of maritime regulations, freight forwarding, and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop data-driven strategies.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
