Responsibility
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Develop and innovate menus that showcase authentic Nusantara cuisine while incorporating modern techniques.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, controlling costs, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal menus and special culinary events.
- Monitor and maintain budgetary guidelines while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Strong expertise in Nusantara cuisine, with a passion for traditional and contemporary Indonesian flavors.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse kitchen team.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and appealing menus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
