Responsibility
- Develop and refine seasonal menus that align with Tlaga Singha’s luxury brand and local culinary trends.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, cost control, and supplier negotiations to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the F&B and management teams to create memorable dining experiences and special events.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, incorporating innovative techniques and sustainable practices into the kitchen.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any culinary-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in high-end restaurants, resorts, or luxury hospitality settings.
- Proven expertise in Balinese, Indonesian, or international cuisine with a creative approach to menu design.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume service periods.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
