Responsibility

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Design and develop innovative, seasonal menus that reflect local flavors and global trends.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and supplier relations.
  • Train, mentor, and foster the professional growth of junior chefs and staff.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to enhance guest satisfaction and service efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate sustainable, locally sourced ingredients where possible.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef in high-end restaurants or resorts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of staff development.
  • Deep knowledge of international cuisines, with a passion for fusion or local Indonesian flavors.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
