Responsibility
- Develop and refine a seasonal, health-focused menu that balances nutrition, taste, and visual appeal.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multicultural kitchen team, fostering a culture of creativity and efficiency.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food cost control, and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to align culinary offerings with brand identity and customer expectations.
- Source high-quality, local and sustainable ingredients to support ethical and eco-friendly practices.
- Monitor and optimize kitchen workflows to maintain speed, consistency, and excellence during peak service.
- Stay ahead of global culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the menu.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, preferably in fine dining, health-focused, or plant-based restaurants.
- Proven track record of menu development, cost control, and team leadership.
- Deep knowledge of nutritional science, dietary restrictions, and allergen management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine and local ingredients is a plus.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
