Responsibility
- Lead and manage the barista team, ensuring high standards of service and beverage quality.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coffee preparation and service.
- Train and mentor baristas on brewing techniques, latte art, and customer engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Introduce seasonal or specialty coffee offerings to attract and retain customers.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Expertise in specialty coffee, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control.
- Passion for customer service and creating memorable café experiences.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
