Responsibility
- Welcome and assist gym members and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym area, including equipment, floors, and common spaces, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor gym usage to ensure equipment is used safely and correctly, providing guidance or assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of gym equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the management team promptly.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of fitness classes, workshops, or special events held within the gym or wellness complex.
- Provide basic fitness guidance, such as demonstrating proper equipment usage or offering general wellness tips to guests (within scope of role).
- Manage guest inquiries, including membership details, class schedules, and facility amenities, with accuracy and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure a seamless experience for guests transitioning between the gym, spa, and other facilities.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols, dress code, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service, hospitality, or fitness-related role is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a passion for wellness and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of gym equipment and fitness principles is beneficial.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning or setup tasks.
- Flexibility to work on a daily or casual basis, including weekends and holidays as needed.
