Responsibility

  • Deliver personalized, high-touch guest services at the Front Desk, ensuring every interaction reflects the Mandarin Oriental standard.
  • Manage the arrival and departure experience, including pre-arrival preparations and efficient processing of guest accounts.
  • Act as an expert local guide, providing sophisticated recommendations for dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences in Singapore.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs and resolve any concerns with professionalism, urgency, and discretion.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and F&B departments to ensure guest rooms and special requests are perfectly prepared.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local regulations to provide accurate and helpful information.
  • Handle multi-channel guest inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel front office or concierge role.
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written; proficiency in an additional major language is highly advantageous.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and professional presentation aligned with a five-star brand.
  • Proven ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
  • Proficiency in Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
