Responsibility
- Supervise daily grocery operations, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Analyze sales data and trends to optimize product placement, promotions, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with store management to implement marketing initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing grocery section to enhance the shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory role within the grocery or FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and basic retail software systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results and improving operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, retail management, or a related field is advantageous.
