Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on outdoor gear, apparel, and accessories tailored to their needs.
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of hiking, camping, and adventure equipment, including features, benefits, and proper usage.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash and digital payments, and manage returns or exchanges professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and promotions to provide accurate and compelling recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute in-store events, workshops, or product demonstrations to drive foot traffic and engagement.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints with a solution-oriented approach to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in outdoor, sports, or adventure gear (fresh graduates with a passion for the outdoors are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Passion for outdoor activities (hiking, camping, trekking, etc.) and a willingness to continuously learn about new products and technologies.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a target-driven environment.
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, inventory software) and numerical accuracy for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as required by the retail schedule.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
