Responsibility
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Support senior surveyors in tender evaluation and contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, materials, and progress for accurate cost tracking.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports, budgets, and financial forecasts for project stakeholders.
- Assist in variation orders and change request assessments to ensure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align financial planning with project goals.
- Review and analyze subcontractor invoices and payment certifications.
- Utilize quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy) for digital take-offs and data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with quantity surveying tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multicultural setting.
- Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT) and local regulations is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
