Responsibility
- Assist in the development and validation of flow assurance models for oil, gas, and water systems using industry software (e.g., OLGA, Pipesim).
- Conduct thermodynamic and hydraulic analyses to identify risks such as hydrate formation, wax deposition, or slugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design mitigation strategies for flow assurance challenges in subsea and pipeline systems.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support field data collection and interpretation to validate simulation results.
- Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and risk assessments for flow assurance systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in flow assurance and multiphase flow dynamics.
- Contribute to proposal writing and business development activities for new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in flow assurance, process engineering, or a relevant internship (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with flow simulation software (e.g., OLGA, Pipesim, HYSYS) is a plus.
- Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic programming (Python, MATLAB) is advantageous.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a proactive mindset.
