Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Record and update inventory data in the company’s ERP or warehouse management system with precision.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in shipments or documentation.
- Organize and label received goods for efficient storage and retrieval in the warehouse.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory audits to maintain data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including receiving reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance records.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational SOPs to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or goods receiving (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in shipments or documentation.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, ERP systems, or basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20-25 kg, as required by the role.
- Familiarity with SOP compliance and quality control processes in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
